My first novel, The Dark Between The Trees, is available now from Solaris Books.

In 1643, at the height of the first English Civil War, a group of seventeen soldiers are chased into remote Moresby Wood. Only two are ever seen again, and the stories they tell make no sense: stories of shifting landscapes, of trees that appear and disappear at will… and of something else. Something dark. Something hungry.

Today, a small group of researchers enters the wood, hoping to discover once and for all what happened to that unfortunate group of soldiers. But Moresby Wood has kept its secrets for centuries, and it’s not giving them up so easily…
